Intern - Analytical CharacterizationJohnson & Johnson MedTech - Surgery is recruiting for a co-op. Through surgical technologies and solutions including sutures, staplers, energy devices, trocars, and hemostats, and our commitment to treat serious medical conditions like obesity and cancer worldwide, we deliver innovation to make a life-changing impact.This co-op position will join the Analytical Characterization group within the company's research and development organization. You will perform hands-on experiments in the area of wet chemistry, and chromatography, under the supervision of lab scientists and collaborate with other analytical associates. You will perform sample management and data curator under the supervision of lab managers. You will also participate in New Product Development project teams, interact with cross-functional R&D development associates, develop analytical methods, and deliver results to support product development.Key Responsibilities:The main responsibility for this position is to work with scientists to perform wet chemistry, and chromatography in support of new product development and life-cycle management.

  • The daily activities focus on sample preparation, testing, data collection, notebook recording, data analysis, and data reporting.
  • Login and manage samples submitted from the stability group.
  • Practices safe and environmentally sound laboratory techniques adhering to regulatory, local government, and safety guidelines.
  • Communicates clearly and concisely, through verbal and written reports.
  • Maintain good documentation and lab notebook per company procedures, and FDA/ICH guidelines.\r\r
