Innovative Medicine is seeking a dynamic Director of Patient
Advocacy for our Global Medical Affairs Oncology team, based in
Raritan, NJ. We are looking for an experienced professional in the
life sciences and pharmaceutical industry, who is passionate about
working with patient advocates to drive innovation in oncology
treatment options.Our Patient Advocacy Group plays a crucial role
in ensuring the patient perspective is at the forefront of our
strategic efforts, including evidence generation discussions,
advisory boards, study steering committees, and critical projects.
Engaging with patient research advocates is central to our mission
of advancing treatment options across our Oncology Portfolio for
patients worldwide.In this role, you will collaborate with internal
stakeholders from various functions such as Research and
Development, Market Access, Decision Sciences, Commercial,
Communications, Policy, and Real World Evidence. You will also work
closely with our regional and local patient advocacy colleagues
around the globe to ensure cohesive and meaningful

Responsibilities:Lead Global Patient Advocacy Forums:Oversee and
execute global forums focused on hematology, genitourinary, and
lung cancer, partnering with the associate director of patient
advocacy. Expand efforts into additional disease areas starting in
2025 and beyond.Collaborative Strategic Engagements:Collaborate
closely with Global Medical Affairs Leaders to identify strategic
opportunities for involving patients in our initiatives. Facilitate
the selection of highly qualified patients, advocates, or care
partners for specialized projects.First Point of Contact for
Internal Partnerships:Serve as the primary liaison for internal
teams seeking collaboration with patient research advocates. Assess
the suitability of involving research advocates in cross-functional
projects and manage any necessary contractual arrangements to
ensure compliance and adherence to our budget.Manage Patient
Engagement Contracts:Own the patient engagements contracting
process by working with the Senior Manager of Patient Advocacy for
contract execution. Oversee consultant hours and manage necessary
extensions.Develop Innovative Social Media Listening
Capabilities:Create and improve social media listening tools
specifically tailored to the needs and insights of global patient
advocates.Responsible for Major Congress Advocacy Engagement
PlansWork in collaboration with other Global Medical Affairs
patient advocacy team members to engage regional and functional
teams, and develop patient advocacy engagement plans at major
congresses including AACR, ASCO GU, ELCC, AUA, EAU, ASCO, EHA,
ESMO, ASH (others as appropriate based on strategic
priorities)QualificationsEducation:Bachelor degree required. BA, BS
or EquivalentAdvanced degree preferred, MBA, MPH, PharmD, PhD or
equivalentExperience and Skills:This role is ideal for candidates
with 8-10 years of experience in the life sciences and
pharmaceutical industry, who are passionate about working with
patient research advocates, have excellent communication skills,

range for this position is $160,000. to $276,000.The Company
maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation
programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for
an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the
applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus
intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results
by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over
a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's
