Workforce Services Associate, Princeton, NJ -Sun Pharma is the

Summary:Under the direction of the Manager, Workforce Services,
position will:Coordinate, and deliver Workforce Services
activities; participate in the preparation, maintenance,
processing, and auditing of manual and automated payroll data,
information, records and reports; ensure accuracy and completeness
of employee and payroll related transactions. -Understand, manage
and aid in navigation and support of the HCM systems. This position
serves as a technical point-of-contact for HR functional areas and
is responsible for the integrity and reliability of HR systems. The
position supports HRIS upgrades, patches, testing, and other
projects as assigned. Duties include assisting with end-user
support issues, impact analysis and planning for proposed new
system releases and supporting user acceptance testing for new
modules or region rollouts. - -Duties and Responsibilities:
- Focus on daily monitoring of workforce help inboxes and respond
to employee questions
- Main point of contact for manufacturing sites as it pertains to
HRIS and payroll functions.
- Ensure data integrity in HCM Payroll system
- Maintain employee and department records and employment
files
- Understanding of various modules within HRIS system including
but not limited to: Job information, Reporting, Business Processes,
and security
- Create and maintain custom reports for internal and external
requests
- Assist with system testing during HCM implementation
- Assist in ensuring accurate and timely production of payroll
functions
- Participate in the review, verification, auditing and
processing of payroll change requests. -
- Participate in the preparation and maintenance of records and
reports related to payroll, employee information, time sheets,
benefits, salaries, leave, taxes, deductions, payments and other
assigned duties
- Participate in payroll support functions; calculate, review,
verify and post a variety of payroll data such as gross pay,
retirement, contract adjustments, retroactive payments, hours, tax
information and leave. Manufacturing sites will be the main
focus.
- Coordinate auditing, record-keeping and reporting functions to
ensure proper application, calculation and reporting of payroll
data, benefits and taxes
- Compensation; verify proper authorizing signatures, coding and
accuracy of payroll adjustments
- Perform other administrative assignments as needed -
-Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with course work in human resources, business
analytics or related field
- 3-5 year of experience with HR data and HR systems; payroll
experience a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite: Excel (a minimum of
pivot tables and v-lookup), Word, Outlook
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills including tact, patience and courtesy
- Preparation, maintenance, verification, auditing and processing
employee and payroll related transactions
- General data processing; SAP experience a plus
- Record retrieval and storage systems -
- Monitor, audit, adjust and reconcile data.
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working
relationships with others
- Operate a computer and assigned office equipment
- Determine appropriate action within clearly defined
guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders and
customers
- Deliver work product on time with the highest level of
quality
- Work confidentially and with discretion
- Work independently with little direction
- Oversee and participate in the preparation and maintenance of
various records, reports and statements related to employees
-Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors,
including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus
