Job Description:
A company is looking for an Auto Physical Damage Appraiser I to
settle physical damage auto claims and prepare cost-effective
estimates.
Key Responsibilities
Reviews loss notices, evaluates repair estimates, and prepares
accurate repair estimates
Negotiates claim settlements with insureds, claimants, and repair
facilities
Analyzes coverages, sets reserves, and issues payments based on
repair costs
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma or equivalency
Two years of auto repair and/or property claims experience or
related experience
Multiple state insurance adjuster and appraiser licenses required
within 6 months of hire
Current technical knowledge of auto collision repair techniques and
standards
Strong knowledge of state statutes
