Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Referral Specialist
responsible for processing referrals.
Key Responsibilities
Process outgoing and incoming referrals from prior authorization to
closing
Manage patient referral documentation and communication with
insurance providers
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced
environment
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of one year of experience with insurance providers or
patient referral processing
Prefer experience in healthcare or clinic patient
registration/scheduling
Valid fingerprint clearance card or completed affidavit required at
hire
Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute is desired
