Job Description:

We have an excellent Jr. Level opportunity for someone looking to join a very reputable company with a solid UNIX/Linux background in the Central/Northern NJ area.  This Jr. Computer Operator job will be responsible to work in a highly creative, dynamic, and innovative team environment.  Our client is looking for someone early on in their career, who has a good grasp of basic UNIX/Linux and is willing to go above and beyond the call of duty, as well as, learn from leadership and through training.  
 
The Jr. Computer Operator job responsibilities include:
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating system (Sun Solaris, AIX, etc.)
• Basic UNIX command lines
• Understanding of data centers, data communications, and utilities
• Troubleshooting,
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Flexibility to work varying coverage hours, including weekends and nights
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work in a high pressure environment.
