Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Department Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Every Other Weekend Required, Holidays as Needed, No On-Call Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 per week Experience: 2 Years of Emergency Department Experience Required License: Professional Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Compact License Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Telemetry - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - Continuing Education Units (CEU) Contact Stroke 4 Hours Must-Have: - Strong experience with Stroke, Sepsis, and ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) patients - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Job Description: - Provide specialized and innovative emergency care services. - Handle an array of emergency situations for patients of all ages. - Deal with various trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions. - Quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with physical and mental health conditions. - Prioritize injuries and medical needs accordingly. - Float within the department between ED Adult, Pediatrics, and Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) as required. - Manage a patient volume that can reach up to 220 per day and handle up to 20 stroke patients per shift. - Limited Request Time Off (RTO) available.
