  • Travel/Contract position for Registered Nurse in Cath Lab/Physiology at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.
  • Patient Ratio: Cath lab 3 required and holding area 3:1 ratio, can change depending on acuity.
  • RN must have 1+ years of Cath lab or critical care experience; experience with high risk PCI-rotational & laser atherectomy, mechanical ventilation management, and conscious sedation is required.
  • On-Call every 3-4 weeks for Fri 9p-Mon 6a block; 1 Weekday evening on call every 2-3 weeks.
  • Skill Requirements: Must be able to monitor procedures along with vitals and hemodynamics, tele, mod sedation, IABP, post procedure management and Cath lab (circulating, sheath removal), Structural Heart experience (documenting during procedure and working alongside the surgeon); IV Impella Preferred.
  • Types of procedures: Cath, PCI, Stent, Pre/Post Care.
  • Charting System: EPIC.
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS and ACLS required.
    • 1+ years of Cath lab or critical care experience.
      • Schedule Information
      • 4x10s or 3x12s (specify in submittal).
      • On-Call every 3-4 weeks for Fri 9p-Mon 6a block; 1 Weekday evening on call every 2-3 weeks.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Patient Ratio: Cath lab 3 required and holding area 3:1 ratio, can change depending on acuity.
          • Additional Details
          • Government Issued Photo ID required. Time-sensitive, Driver's license required to be provided within 48 hours of signing.
          • Certificates expiring within a month of start will need renewal confirmation (Email/Receipt) to clear.
