Main responsibilities include leading post-deal and day-to-day alliance activities to shape and achieve the strategic objectives of the alliance, establishing clear communication lines across the partnership, anticipating and resolving potential issues, negotiating ancillary agreements and amendments and overall ensuring the highest quality relationship possible.The Director, Alliance Management will report to the Sr. Director Alliance ManagerThis individual will be responsible for several areas including but not limited to:

  • \r
  • Assigned specific alliances within Cardiopulmonary and Specialty Ophthalmology and will lead partnership integration through all phases of development and commercialization
  • Implement Alliance Management programmatic processes and tools appropriate to the scope and needs of the alliance.
  • Participate as a member of the joint R&D and commercial project teams to proactively foster coordination and alignment of all internal and external partners to the goals and objectives of the alliance.
  • Openly, proactively, and clearly communicate across all lines of the partnership including Senior Management.
  • This position will require the ability to anticipate and resolve issues and conflicts arising out of changing priorities and unpredictable events.
  • Monitor the progress of the contract obligations and milestones and effectively monitor the satisfaction of the partner.
  • Provide input during pre-deal negotiations
  • Facilitate and/or negotiate ancillary agreements and amendments
  • Monitor the progress of the contract obligations and milestones and effectively monitor the health of the alliance/partnerships\r\r
