Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Waterview Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare in North Salem, Westchester County. As a RN Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in organizing and overseeing unit activities, supervising staff, and demonstrating clinical expertise in accordance with established nursing standards.Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and oversee unit activities and staff assignments
• Identify and respond to patient needs in a timely and appropriate manner
• Monitor, observe, and document vital signs, treatments administered, and patient responses
• Administer medications and treatments as needed
• Communicate and direct services to appropriate team members, residents, family, or medical staff as needed
• Identify and follow disciplinary action as stated in policy
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, physicians, and other vendors' services
• Perform RN assessment to residents' post-incidents or change in condition
• Lead and direct emergency situationsRequirements:
  • Current and good standing RN License in the State of New York
  • Previous experience with geriatric/short-term rehabilitation/Alzheimer's patients is desirable
  • Progressive nursing experience in a geriatric setting. Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Dedicated to providing extraordinary, quality, compassionate care to each resident
  • Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes challenging residents
  • Have patience and willingness to assist any residents and co-workers
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organization skills
