Healing and Biosurgery (WCHB) Project Heads will report to the Head
of Portfolio and Project Management for Surgery R&D. The
Director will be responsible for managing a team of Project Heads,
responsible for cross-functional collaboration and execution to
ensure new product program delivery. Key success metrics for this
role are meeting project objectives including, but not limited to,
time to market, cost of goods (COGS), development costs, quality
metrics and ability to meet projected demand.The role will serve on
the WCHB R&D leadership team advocating for projects with
cross-functional peers and acting as a governance escalation point.
This team member will have career development, resource management
and oversight responsibilities for a team of site-based or remote
direct reports. This role requires strong collaboration skills and
partnership with R&D, Global Strategic Marketing, Regulatory
Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Supply Chain, Quality and Finance. The
role also requires strong expertise in medical device development
including a strong understanding of global regulatory and clinical
