How You Will Make an ImpactThe Corporate Supply Chain Manager oversees the management of materials and planning for the organization to align with financial goals, operational improvements, and customer on-time delivery expectations. Working cross-functionally, the Corporate Supply Chain Manager develops procedures, metrics, and reporting in coordination with areas such as sales, marketing, finance, and production. This position will also assist with the continued creation of the supply chain strategy and further integration of supply chain concepts into the organization. -The Nuts and BoltsSupports Management of MRP parameters in ERP systems to ensure proper outputs are maintainedOn-time delivery performance and continued implementation of a system-driven metricManage activities related to material requirements planning and controlling inventoryImplementation and utilization of scheduling software solutionImplement new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency or performanceReporting and metric development and monitoringOwn the SIOP process and solidify the importance of adherence to the -plan within the organizationMonitor forecasts to determine effects on supply chain activitiesAssist with the development of cycle count proceduresParticipate in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flowOwn and monitor forecasting and management of inventory turns with weekly reporting to ELTDiagram supply chain processes and metrics to help facilitate discussions with customersEstablish stocking levels in line with financial goals and expected fill rate performanceEvaluate and select technology-based solutions to improve tracking and reporting of planning, inventory and customer demandLogistics planning and optimization to include freight planning and cost savings opportunitiesDevelop SOP's for Supply Chain related activitiesExperience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI or TableauExperience working in an ERP system (JDE preferred)Demonstrated ability to manage inventory turns -Required CredentialsAPICS CPIM a plus5 to 10 years of successful experience in Supply Chain Management or Materials ManagementManufacturing industry experience preferredKnowledge of logistics and transportation is a plusBachelor's degree in operations, supply chain management or business - -How We Make an ImpactAt Reading Truck, we have more than 65 years of industry leadership in the manufacture, distribution, and enhancement of work truck bodies.
