Description: Our client a rapidly growing construction and services company seeks a Senior Accountant to join its team. The company offers an excellent opportunity for growth, stability and solid benefits.

Responsibilities Include:

Prepare and review monthly financial statements including variances.
Provide supporting workpapers and reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts.
Prepare monthly prepaid and accrual schedules and ensure proper monthly posting of accounting entries.
Support and oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable,
Assist with Percentage of Completion
Assist in driving an 8-day month-end close.
Responsible for reviewing and/or preparation of bank and credit card reconciliations and assist with filing of sales tax returns
Assist with any ad-hoc accounting projects and ERP implementations across the platform companies as needed.
Provide support to the auditors and tax advisors as needed.

Requirements:

5 years of related accounting experience.
Bachelor's degree in accounting.
Sage 300 and Sage Intacct ERP experience preferred but not required.
Construction industry experience a plus.
Public accounting experience preferred but not required.
Detail oriented, organized, able to work independently and meet stringent deadlines with minimal supervision
