Operating out of our flagship Global Retail headquarters based in
Stamford, CT and our Herman Miller and Knoll flagship offices in
Manhattan, NY you'll be surrounded by smart and creative teammates
who are dedicated to making each other better while serving some of
the world's most iconic brands including Herman Miller, Knoll, DWR,
HAY, and Muuto. The Sr. company Planner L ead s the strategic &
financial d emand and s ales planning for our D2C businesses
globally. U s e s data-driven analytics, trend insights, and
business acumen to develop and communicat e the strategic plan (3yr
forecast); the annual operating plan; and monthly forecast s. I n
partner ship with cross-functional stakeholders, c onduct s ad-hoc
analyses to support multiple business channels including e - c
ommerce and brick-and-mortar. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Perform s
financial forecasting with input from cross-functional
stakeholders, share s output with teams for alignment. Composes
weekly business recap s that demonstrate an understanding of retail
trends and their implications across metrics. Evaluates health of
business ; identif ies and communicate s risks and opportunities to
forecast and LY. Conducts ad-hoc analyses that result in actionable
opportunities to drive business improvement s. Effectively
communicate s with teammates at all levels including leadership.
Partners with FP&A team to compose month-end and quarter-end
hindsight decks to be shared with the Senior Leadership Team and
Board of Directors. Partners with global stakeholders across
various departments to streamline global collaboration processes
and strateg ies. Performs additional responsibilities as requested
to achieve business objectives. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
preferred 4 - 7 years of experience in a corporate retail or
professional financial environment Thorough knowledge and expertise
in financial forecasting and retail trend analysis Experience
operating in a highly matrixed organization with the ability to use
i nfluential interpersonal skills to attain cross-functional buy-in
Experience working in a fast- paced environment that requires
agility and re prioritization while maintaining keen attention to
detail Proven ability to synthesize large amounts of data in Excel
Proven ability to operate independently and impactfully, and the
desire to be a business owner SKILLS AND ABILITIES Demonstrated
ability to effectively use office automation, communication
software and tools currently being used in the Herman Miller office
environment including related Financial programs and software.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
environment. Advanced Excel skills a plus. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The
